Create Your Course with Ease
Welcome to Stukent! In this step-by-step guide, we’ll walk you through the process of creating your Stukent account and selecting your materials. It won’t take long to prepare your course for the new semester.
- Note: We require/strongly suggest creating a new course with each new section of students every semester.

GET STARTED IN A FEW SIMPLE STEPS
To begin, log into your Stukent instructor account.
From the home page, navigate to the left sidebar and click Add Course.
When the New Course page opens, type the name of your course into the Course Name box. We recommend using the same course name for your Stukent course as your course name in your LMS.
If you’re creating a course for testing purposes, you may want to indicate this in the course name. Include words like “sandbox,” “instructor testing,” or “demonstration course” in the name.
Next, select your institution. Click the pencil icon under School.
Type the name of your institution into the search box and select your institution from the drop-down list.
Under Starting Date, enter the day your course starts, then select a school type.
Finally, you’ll need to select a payment type. You have several options to choose from:
“Student Paid” means students will purchase their course materials directly from Stukent.
"Access Code" means students purchased an access code from their school's bookstore and received a 16-digit access code.
"Program Paid” (usually with high schools) means your students’ materials are included in their course fees. If you select “Program Paid,” your customer success manager will need to verify and approve your course.
Once you have selected your options, click Save and Continue.
SELECT YOUR COURSE MATERIALS
Next, let’s take a look at how to select your materials from the Stukent Product Library. Use the tabs to browse the library, or type the courseware or Simternship title into the search bar to find exactly what you need.
Once you’ve located your materials, click Add Product and Create Course.
Your new course will appear in the left sidebar under Active Courses. Once that’s done, you’re all set! If you click on your new course from your home page, you’ll be able to see your materials, student enrollments, course settings, and more.
