How do I use the 'Remove' button for Stukent in Canvas?

Now that you linked your Stukent course in Canvas, you may notice a "Remove" option located next to the round/quiz names. (Please note that for a majority of products, the "Remove" option will only show for the courseware products.) This article will explain what this does and how to use it in your course.

The "Remove" function will:

• Delete the Stukent assignment that was generated in Canvas, and remove it from the gradebook.
• Disable the quiz on the Stukent side.
  

If you would like to eventually add the quiz back into Canvas and enable it on the Stukent side again, you can follow these steps:

1. Scroll to the bottom of the Stukent tab.
2. Select "View Inactive Assignments" located in the bottom right.
3. Select "Add" next to the quiz(zes) you'd like added back, or use the "Add All" if you'd like to add all of them back.

FAQs

Will my students need to redo the quiz? It says that it will remove my students score when I "remove" it.

No, your students will not need to redo any work. Their scores are still kept on the Stukent side. To get this back in Canvas, follow the steps below:

1. Add the quiz back while in Canvas following the steps in the previous section.
2. Go to the admin side of your Stukent course, and go to the "Student Results" tab.
3. Click the "Sync Scores to LMS" button.
4. When you go back to the gradebook, you'll see that the quiz is now back along with student scores.

Fortunately, you only need to use the "Sync Scores to LMS" once because future scores will continue to sync automatically.

Will the open/due dates be affected when I "remove" a Stukent quiz in Canvas?

No. Dates set on the Stukent settings are not affected when using the "remove" feature in Canvas.
