Students | How do I find my primary email address?

Currently, primary email addresses are an important piece of your account when using the integration with Stukent. 

The primary email in your LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.) needs to be the same email in Stukent. Sometimes there are discrepancies with the email being used in the LMS and the email being used in Stukent which can cause issues.

As part of the troubleshooting process, our Support team needs to know what the primary email address is in your LMS. You can use the steps below to locate your primary email address and provide the Support team with a screenshot.

 

Canvas

  1. Click on "Account" in the top left.
  2. Select "Settings".
  3. Find the "Ways to Contact" section.
  4. Take a screenshot of this section to show which email is the primary one (indicated with a star).

 

Blackboard

  1. Click on the person icon in the top left.
  2. It will display your email address under "Basic Information".
  3. Take a screenshot of this section to show which email is the primary one.

Brightspace (D2L)

  1. Click on your account in the top right.
  2. In the dropdown, select "Notifications".
  3. Click on "Change your email settings."
  4. Take a screenshot of the pop-up window that says "Email Settings" to show what is listed under "Use System Email".

 

Moodle

  1. Click on your account icon in the top right.
  2. Select "Profile" from the dropdown.
  3. Take a screenshot of your email under "User Details".

Schoology

  1. Click on your name in the top right corner.
  2. Take a screenshot of your "Primary Email" located under "Account Settings".
