Student | Unable to join course with invite course link

If you are unable to join your course with the link provided by your instructor, there are usually a few things that may be causing this error:

  • The link is for an older archived course. Each course has a unique link to join. If the course is older and archived, you will be unable to join the course. Some instructors will mistakenly not update a syllabus with the newest link. You may check with your instructor that this is the correct link for your course.
  • You have already joined the course. If you have already joined the course, it will not allow you to join the course again with your email and you may receive an error during signup. In this case, you would want to go to my.stukent.com and log in with the email and password you created. If you need any help resetting your password, don't hesitate to reach out to support at support@stukent.com
  • The information you provided does not fulfill the criteria. You'll want to make sure the email address you provide is a valid email address. You'll also want to make sure the password you enter has one uppercase and lowercase letter. It will also require a symbol and number. Usually, you'll have more success not starting the password with a letter or number. (e.g. Password123! )

Please keep in mind, that if your course is integrated through your LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace, Moodle, or Schoology), you will not use a course invite link. You will access the course through the LMS platform and select Stukent. From there, it will enroll you in the course in Stukent and allow you to purchase the materials. This link walks you through on how to enroll through your LMS. HERE
