Sometimes the scores may need a little push to show up in your LMS course, and this article will walk you through the steps to sync your scores from Stukent into the LMS.
*DISCLAIMER: This will overwrite all Stukent scores in the LMS gradebook, and may be subject to late policies you may have enabled in the gradebook (example: show as late in the gradebook). This applies to scores that came over automatically and those you manually entered. Additionally, this will cause new time stamps to display in the LMS. If you need to look at original time stamps of submissions, you can do that in the Stukent platform.
1. Launch Stukent from your LMS.
2. Ensure you've selected the correct course needing scores synced.
3. Click 'Go to Admin' on the product that needs the score synced.
4. Click on the 'Student Results' tab, and then the 'Sync Scores to LMS' button.
5. Confirm the sync.
6. Wait a minute or two and then refresh your LMS gradebook to check for updated scores. If the scores still do not come through, please contact your CSM or the Stukent Support team.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this button sync all student scores or can I choose individual students to sync?
- This button will sync every and all student scores for the product to the LMS. If you'd like only one student's scores synced or one assignment synced for all or specific students, you can reach out to either your CSM or the Stukent Support team so they can work with the LMS Support specialists to do this.
Will the automatic 0's be overwritten with the sync button?
- Yes, with an exception.
- If you use Canvas, and have late policies set on the gradebook that cause late submissions to be marked as a 0, using our sync will not overwrite that. This is because of how Canvas handles these submissions. If a 0 was given to a student because of no submission or a late submission, the 0 will be honored.
- However, this also means that 0's will be populate if you sync scores past a certain due date even if the original submission was on time. Please work with your CSM if you have questions about this.
