Schoology | Managing Dates and Assignments After Integrating

After integrating the Stukent tool, you can manage Stukent dates and assignments from within Schoology using our Stukent tool. 

Managing Dates

At this time, you will need to add due dates in both Schoology and Stukent. To add dates in Stukent while staying in Schoology, follow the steps below:

1. Click the Add Materials dropdown.
2. Locate and click on the Stukent tool.
   
3. From here, you'll see the products being used in your course along with checkboxes and date fields.
4. Find the product you'd like to add/adjust dates for. These will apply to the assignment on the Stukent platform. (You will still need to add/adjust dates to the gradebook item in Schoology.)
   
5. Once you're finished adding dates, click the Update button at the bottom.

 

Managing Assignments

To manage assignments, you will need to access the tool the same you accessed it for the dates. See steps above if needed.

The checkbox to the left of the assignment title is to show if it is enabled/disabled for students on the Stukent side. *Note: most of the simternships will be grayed out (cannot be adjusted) because the simulation is linear and each round is required to function properly.

The checkboxes in the middle are to generate the deep links & gradebook items for those assignments within Schoology. Select the checkboxes desired, and then click Update located at the bottom.

The screenshots below show where the assignment links and gradebook items are generated.

Removing Assignments from Schoology

If you would like to remove the assignment from Schoology, you'll deselect the middle checkboxes ('Create Deep Link' & 'Add to Gradebook') for the assignment(s), and then scroll to the bottom to select Update. This action will remove the item only from the Gradebook.

NOTE: If you no longer need the link for an assignment, you'll also need to remove it from Materials in Schoology.
