Stukent CTE | Whitelisting with Google Workspace

This article will go over how your Admin Team can add Stukent CTE to their whitelist to be allowed within your Google Classroom account.

Some school districts have enhanced controls over which third parties have access to their Google accounts. Follow the instructions in this article to whitelist Stukent CTE with your Google Workspace account.

These instructions are also available at Google Workspace help, if you would like to view more information or follow them there.

A district administrator will have to perform these steps.

It is unlikely teachers will have the permissions required to whitelist Stukent CTE. Please get in touch with your District IT department and have them follow these instructions.

To get started, open Google Admin and login with your administrator credentials. Then, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Menu → Security → Access and Data Control → API Controls
  2. In App access control, click Manage Third-Party App Access.
  3. For Configured apps, click Add app.
  4. Choose OAuth App Name or Client ID.
  5. Enter our application's name (Stukent CTE) and click Search
  6. Hover over the Stukent CTE option, and click Select
  7. On the next step, check all of the available checkboxes.
  8. Select who to configure access for:
    1. By default, the top organizational unit is selected. Leave this selected to set access for all users in your organization.
    2. To configure access for specific organizational units, click Select org units, then click + to view your organizational units. Check the desired organizational units, then click Select.
  9. Click Continue
  10. Choose the Trusted option.
  11. Review the settings, and click Finish.

Once those changes are saved, your students and teachers should be able to use Google to login to Stukent CTE.
