You may be asking yourself this if you allocated a certain amount of money during one round, only to see that it was not completely used when you moved on to the next round. Don't worry! This is normal. The budget you decide to allocate is the maximum you are allowed to spend. But, that maximum amount will not always be reached.
You have $5000 to allocate to your Ad Campaigns each round. Some rounds include an Email Campaign as well. The amount you spend on an Email Campaign is easy to determine before you run the round. That is because you select the content for the email and see the cost to use it. Also, there is a $29.00 Email Campaign expense each round to account for. That makes it easy to calculate how much of your budget will be spent on your Email Campaigns.
However, the amount of your budget that will be spent by your Ad Campaigns all depends on your ad quality. This is due to the principle of better ad quality leading to better interaction. This is important because more people clicking into your ad means more money from your budget will be spent! This is why you should review your "Insights" tab to examine your ad's performance.
You can find the Insights tab by going to the "Jump To" drop-down menu, and then clicking "Ad Campaigns".
Next, you will click on the Insights tab.
The overview shown will give you an impression of how well your ad and landing page quality is for each ad. By clicking into each ad on the Insights tab, you can discover more about why the ad performed the way it did.
Green dots mean that aspect of the ad did well, yellow means it could use improvement, and red means changes should be made. You may also notice small question marks beside some of the terms in the Insights tab. If you hover over those question marks, you will notice that more information will pop up. These little question marks hold valuable information on how you could improve and create better ads, so be sure to review them!
Overall, the better your Ad Campaigns perform, the more your budget will be spent!
