Congratulations! You’ve worked hard creating your first ad campaign which includes ads, ad groups, and keywords for the GoPro Hero 7, the Canon Rebel T7i, or Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX10K. Now, you’ve made it to Round 2. Unlike Round 1, in Round 2 you have several new decisions to complete with dozens of new products to advertise.
You’ll first want to go to your Round Tasks & Decisions. Read the instructions for each decision carefully so you know exactly what to do. Do not skip this. It will give you the upper hand when competing against your classmates because the new decisions in this round require more thought and strategy in order to perform well.
Next, navigate to your product catalog using the Jump To drop-down menu. Here you will be able to see the new products you can advertise. This is one of the biggest differences from round 1 so pay close attention to the details for each product.
Then, navigate to your landing pages using the Jump To menu. In the previous round, you were briefly introduced to the landing pages. In round 2, you will get the opportunity to create three unique landing pages for three separate products. For instructions and tips on how to do that, see this article.
Lastly, go to your Pay Per Click Dashboard. This may look new to you, but it contains the same campaigns, ad groups, and ads that you created in Round 1. Metrics for each are listed there as well. If you need to know what each one refers to, hover over the question mark or see this article.
In each tab, there is a red button to create new campaigns, ad groups, and ads. For instructions and tips on how to write a good ad, see this article. An insights page has been added to see how your ads performed in round 1. For more explanation on how to use the insights page, see this article.
Note: The decisions “Create One Ad Campaign”, “Create 3 New Ad Groups”, and “Write at least 1 ad per Ad Group” must be completed by creating new campaigns, ad groups, and ads apart from the ones that you already created in round 1.
