Occasionally, there are times when deep links are accidentally deleted or fail to generate even though the associated grade item DID generate. Use the steps below to regenerate ONLY the deep links while leaving the grade item untouched.
Blackboard Ultra
- Open your Blackboard course.
- Click the plus button under the Content tab.
Select Content Market.
- Locate and click on the Stukent Content tile.
Find the assignment(s) that you need to regenerate deep links for, and deselect the checkbox(es) under the CREATE DEEP LINK column. Scroll to the bottom and select "Update".
- Once the page refreshes on it's own, reselect the Deep link checkbox(es) for the assignment(s) needing new deep links, scroll down and select "Update".
- When it's finished, it will automatically bring you back to the Blackboard Content tab. You can find the new deep link at the very bottom of the Blackboard page (you may have to scroll multiple times depending on how much content you have).
Blackboard Original
- Open your Blackboard course.
- Click on the "Content" tab.
Within the Content tab, click the dropdown "Build Content" and then select "Stukent Content".
Find the assignment(s) that you need to regenerate deep links for, and deselect the checkbox(es) under the CREATE DEEP LINK column. Scroll to the bottom and select "Update".
Once the page refreshes on it's own, reselect the Deep link checkbox(es) for the assignment(s) needing new deep links, scroll down and select "Update".
6. When it's finished, it will automatically bring you back to the Blackboard Content tab. You can find the new deep link at the very bottom of the Blackboard page (you may have to scroll multiple times depending on how much content you have).
