This article will help you to interpret the results of the Sponsorship portion of NIL(Name Image Likeness) Simternship.
How to navigate to the Results, which can be viewed at any time while within the NIL Simternship:
- Click the RESULTS tab under the NIL Simternship title
- Choose which round’s results you would like to view
- Once selected, the results page will appear
Rounds 1 and 2 of the NIL Simternship require you to negotiate sponsorships for your student athlete, as well as select possible future sponsorships.
Initially, you will see several metrics pertaining to your sponsorship dealings.
- Engagement Rate
- Reputation
- Negotiation Skills
Your goal is to see a 3% increase in these metrics each round.
For your sponsorship selections, you will be rated based on how well your selections line up with your student athlete’s interests. You will receive a red, orange, yellow, or green rating, which will be shown on a rating “wheel”. These colors are interpreted as follows:
-Red requires a lot of improvement
-Orange requires more improvement
-Yellow requires less improvement
-Green requires little to no improvement.
You will receive feedback regarding your Sponsorship Option as well.
You will also negotiate sponsorship contracts. In your results, look over the BUSINESS NEGOTIATION INSIGHTS to see whether your contracts fit the needs of your student athlete.
