How can I Improve my Channel Allocation?

This article will help you review and understand your results on the channel budget allocation in the Advertising Simternship.

To find your results, you will need to: 

  1. Click on the “Results” button at the top left hand corner.
  2. Select the desired round.

The following clip will show you how to navigate. This will be the same for all simulations: Results_Tab.gif
Interpreting Your Results

Your results will be shown in the form of a gauge as shown below:

  • Red requires a lot of improvement
  • Orange requires more improvement
  • Yellow requires less improvement
  • Green requires little to no improvement.

Your metrics according to each channel will look like this:

From here, you can see how each channel did with each individual metric. If you see that the metric is not working for you in your favor, you can make adjustments with your allocation in the next round. 

Tips and Tricks

  • Make sure to download and review the “Historical Campaign Data” in your inbox.
  • Remember that it is your goal to have the customers see this at least 3 times. 
  • Be sure to check all of the metrics for each individual channel and adjust your allocation accordingly.
