Interpreting Your Results

Your search ads are scored on 3 Quality categories in relation to your keywords: bid quality, ad relevance, and page relevance.

Bid Quality- You can set your bid to any amount you would like. When you select a keyword, you have the opportunity to customize the bid for each keyword based on the suggested bid amount and the competition for the word you choose. For more specific suggestions on bids, go to this article: What Should I Bid?

Ad Relevance- How relevant (or often seen) is the keyword in your ad?

Page Relevance- How relevant (or often seen) is the keyword in your landing page AND in the ad(s) linked to that landing page?

You can use this key to see how each keyword performed:

Tips and Tricks:

  • Be sure to have at least 10-15 keywords per ad.
  • Use keywords that have a high average monthly search as well as those with a low average monthly search volume.
  • Try to use your keywords as much as possible in your ad and landing page.
  • Make sure that the camera type, spelling, grammar, and spacing of letters is consistent from your keywords to your ad and landing page.
    • Ex: “GoPro Hero” vs “go pro hero”
